Cory LeClair, who was previously the director of federal programs with the SAU before becoming assistant superintendent, and Alfred Williams will participate in final interviews on Monday and Tuesday, Allen Damren, a member of the college board of trustees and Claremont assistant mayor, said at Wednesday night’s City Council meeting.
Damren said there were 40 applicants and the group was pared to four for initial interviews.
The college has been without a permanent president since Alicia Harvey-Smith left in August 2016 to become executive vice chancellor at Lone Stare College in Houston. During Harvey-Smith’s tenure, RVCC was expanded to include the former Lebanon College building.
